server 2003 sp1 is shutting down network cardsI'm running an hp Proliant DL380 server. This is also my exchange 2003
server, and is a DC. I recently approved windows server 2003 service pack 1 to install through WSUS. After rebooting the server, once windows has completely loaded it seems that my NIC cards no longer work. I can't ping anything, nor can I ping the server. The odd thing is that I can ping the server all I want, but only up until a certain point that windows loads to, and then nada. Removing sp1 resolves this issue. Checked for upgraded drivers from HP, installed them, and same scenario. Anyone having similar issues? Is the Windows Firewall turned on?

domain. I tried to replace the NICs but that didn't do any good. Next step will be to uninstall SP1. This has happen on two different 2003 servers. Downgrading one to W2K server fixed that server - that shouldn't be the solution.
