I am doing redirected folders Group Policy with my 2003 Server and so far
all my XP clients have read the policy and have redirected their My Docs and
Desktop.  I have a Win2K Pro client that is not doing it.  Any ideas?

To resolve event id 1030 and 1058 immediately, contact Microsoft to obtain
the hotfix (the hotfix is free - knowledge base 842804).
As workaround open the command prompt type dfsutil /PurgeMupCache, and then
press ENTER.
The others errors dependig of that.

I have tried the dfsutil.exe and that didn't help.  I read the article you
spoke of, but I am not having the problem in stanby so I am not sure if this
pertains to me.  I don't want to apply the fix if that really isn't where
the problem lies.

I just got the hotfix from Microsoft and I am worried about what might
happen if I apply this.  Will it cause my system to go unstable or mess
anything else up?  Is there anything else it could be on the system that is
causing this to happen.  My XP clients are working just fine with this GP.

Thanks

How does is setting the dns on Win2k pro? Launch the gpresult on clients
from command line to see what GPOs are applied.
