2 SATA DISK with mirroring option Disabled

Hello,

I am having problem of configuring 2 SATA Hard Disk to add mirroring
option, it is showing gray out (disable) in windows 2003 server.

Any help in this issue.

Chance Hopkins

I ordered a server once with a SATA RAID and they sent the wrong card. I
called and the people that put it together (I won't name them for feeling
that it was an honest mistake) said that sometimes they get shipped out with
the wrong card. I verified with them that it was and they sent me a new one,
no charge, 2nd day air.

You might want to take a REAL close look at the card and bios post to make
sure it's really what you think it is.

It make just be a serial ata controller and not a serial raid controller.

They let me keep the wrong one too so now I have a serial ata 10k drive for
my os (very cool).

Sorry, thank you for your response, But I am doing a normal testing on a
DeskTop PC, which is normal motherboard and normal 2 cable SATA connection.
Any idea if this will work with this setup.

Did you converted from basic to dynamic your disks?
