I have a 2003 AD running exchange 2003.
Disk size is 80Gb. I am rapidly running out of space and have discovered
that the sysvol is 48Gb. Is this normal?

Please check your Exchange transaction files.  I had this happen to me.  A
couple of ways to fix this is to perform a nightly backup of the Exchange
server, which clears the files or enable 'circular transactions' from Exch
Manager.

The best way is to backup!
