windows & third party authenticationon a site where all win2K & winXP users need to access a windows 2003 AD as
well as a third party mainframe, is there some way to prompt the user for authentication if their windows authenticaion is different than the mainframe authentication ? currently the mainframe is set to expire passwords every 90 days, and when that happens and the name/password is not the same as is passed by the windows clients it just locks them out instead of prompting for a username and password. not sure if this is a windows security or kerberos setting on the windows clients or a config error on the mainframe, but is there a way to always prompt for authentication on the win clients if the windows authentication to the mainframe fails ? tia ... |
