After installing sp1, the Security Configuration Wizard did not install
properly.  It is not listed in "Add/Remove Programs".
The help link is on the desktop.

There is a desktop icon  in place of what I'm assuming should be the SCW
link.  It is named "desktop.ini" and contains the following info:

[LocalizedFileNames]
Security Configuration Wizard.lnk=@%SystemRoot%\system32\ws03res.dll,-69500

How can I correct this please?

It is an optional component.

To install Security Configuration Wizard
Open Add or Remove Programs.
Click Add/Remove Windows Components.
Select the Security Configuration Wizard check box, click Next, and then click Finish.

To run it, Start / Administrative Tools / SCW

Jerold,

Thank you for the reply.  What you missed on my original post is that the
Security Configuration Wizard is not available in Add/Remove Programs,
therefore, I cannot install it.  Is there a d/l that I could get to manually
install it?

Thanks,

Jim

Semantics I know but you state it is not available in Add/Remove programs -
have you looked in Add/Remove Windows Components?
