Hi

I cannot login to roaming profile on Server 2003 (DC) from a client XP Pro
machine.

Only permissions I have is Everyone Full Control on the folder containing
the user settings...

Whats going wrong?

Also I want to install VPN L2TP ipsec certs from a CA on to a client
computer...do I do request enroll from the client computer or autoenroll from
the  CA?

thanks
much

IMO this is a permissions issue.

Try browsing to the user's profile folder, open properties, security,
advanced and give the user ownership of the folder and subfolders.

I had similar problems and found out that the owner must be either a member
of the administrators group or the user. The above worked for me.

BTW.  It's a bad idea to give 'everyone' full control as this will
compromise your security.
