What kind of browsing are you trying to do?  did you set up conditional
forwarding in the Win2k Domain as well?  machines that talk to the Win2k
DC/DNS servers need to know where to go too.
Also, please leave some eggs for my little girl this Sunday, she is very
excited!

Scott..thats the nub of my problem...how to setup in W2K Con Forwarding, in
W2K3 it very straight forward in W2K it doesnt seem so!
I am thankfully workin within the same subnet and this was for the ADMT
process on the workstation (adding new dom admin to local admins at wkstation
I am sure that i need to do this in a better way!!) and have configured the
workstations to pick up the new dom DNS and all is good.....however I still
need to know for other projects

i hope this make sense as i am a little on the tired side...so many eggs so
little time!!I hope ur little girl got hers

many thanks

Hi,

Windows 2000 DNS cannot do conditional forwarding.

You have to setup a secondary zone for the 2003 domain in on the 2000 domain
DNS server.
