perfmon console displays disk reads+writes, but binary counter logs only contain zerosHi all,
this seems close to some other posts, but my symptoms are unique... I often use binary counter logs to collect long performance runs of data. We've recently upgraded form 2000 to 2003 EE. At the end of our last run, I checked on various statistics, and found out that I collected a bunch of zeros for disk read, write, read bytes, and write bytes. The disk queue length stats were intact. A controlled experiment showed that data I could observe on the real-time console looked good, but still the counters would not find their way into a binary log. Ideas? Thanks.
