Problem with using sysprep for cloning Windows 2003 Server

Hello!

I had tried to use sysprep for cloning Windows 2003 Server and running it
on Virtual Server but when I had tried to use system after reboot I can't get
access to it - message about wrong password or bad domain name has been
appeared (however I had added computer to workgroup).

Please, help me to resolve the problem.

Did you run mini-setup (recommended) on the machine before you imaged
it?  Was the machine joined to a Domain (not recommended) before you
imaged it?  You did say that you had added the machine to a workgroup I
guess, but I would double check.

Hello, Scott!

The paradox is that I had completed cloning twice before I had received the
problem with the same (!!!) VPC image.

My actions:
1. I had installed Windows 2003 Server.
2. I had added this machine to the workgroup.
3. I had been running sysprep.
4. Machine has been shutting down.
5. I had copied this image and had been approving that it works fine (had
been completing setting up the image - sure I had possibility to logon under
administrator)
6. I had tried another copy - it still has been working fine.
7. I had tried to copy template again and set up it - this trying was failed.

Also after that I had tried to run sysprep on another machine and without
copying simply login to it - it also was failed.

I didn't add machines to the domain but I don't have information about
running Mini-setup (I am thinking that this setup is the process of tuning
after starting image after running sysprep - not before).

Also please, consider my other problems with Virtual Server:
1. I had "idle sessions" when I didn't interrupt my actions with machine.
2. I had been forced to readd (change the media) for CD device each time I
want to change the disk in device (without this action I can insert another
disk but content of CD in VPC was the old - not the fresh, from inserted disk)
