Anyone know where to get the patch for Server 2003 so you can control XP
firewall settings through group policy?
Thanks

Mike,
I'm not aware of any patch, and have sucessfully deployed firewall settings
via group policy, is there a specific problem that you are encountering?

I was informed that SP1 for 2003 server has this functionality.  But I
thought, as you indicate, that you can already do this with GP??  Are you
using this same SP1.  Keeping in mind that this SP is in Beta still.

Nope, just 2K3 server with all of the latest updates.  AD doesn't care if I
configure at the server or via an XP client, settings are propagated.

The  XP SP2 .adm files have to be imported into Active Directory.  Please
see the following articles.

Managing Windows XP Service Pack 2 Features Using Group Policy:

Pack 2:

You'll need to look for WF_XPSP2.doc.
