ADPREP Failed for upgrading to Windows 2003Small W2K domain with 3 DCs, 2 Exchagne 2003, less than 40 users
All Ecxchanges upgarde to 2003 Entereprise without issues. DCs are all with SP4 with latest patches ADPREP failed with Adprep Log Showing: Adprep was unable to update forest-wide information. SCHUPGR LOG Showing: Current Schema Version is 13 Upgrading schema to version 30 ERROR: Failed to transfer the schema FSMO role: 52 (Unavailable). Checked replications between the DCs. All tests as per directive gave no errors. Request help. Did you transfer the Schema Master Role over to the DC you were performing
the adprep /forestprep or did you do this on the Root DC (on the assumption that the fsmo roles are still managed by the root dc) Show quoteHide quote "AlphaDX" wrote: > Small W2K domain with 3 DCs, 2 Exchagne 2003, less than 40 users > All Ecxchanges upgarde to 2003 Entereprise without issues. > DCs are all with SP4 with latest patches > > ADPREP failed with > Adprep Log Showing: > Adprep was unable to update forest-wide information. > > SCHUPGR LOG Showing: > Current Schema Version is 13 > Upgrading schema to version 30 > ERROR: Failed to transfer the schema FSMO role: 52 (Unavailable). > > Checked replications between the DCs.
