Beginner has question on Windows 2003 srvr & Win2003 SBSWe have approx. 8 workstations and want to setup a Win 2003 server. The SBS
pkg is much cheaper. All we need (or want) is Win 2003. Is there any reason we shouldn't save the money and go with SBS and just NOT install Exchange, etc. Are there differences between W2003 & SBS other than the amt of users and the add'l software bundled in? Will I be able to install just W2003 for now? Thanks... Well, one of the most important things to consider for SBS is that
everything has to run on one physical box. So make sure it is well equipped one if you decide to go for it. Here is a neat article on SBS: http://redmondmag.com/features/article.asp?EditorialsID=416 And here is a good starting point: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/sbs/default.mspx -- Show quoteHide quoteArek Iskra MVP for Windows Server - Software Distribution "Russell DeMarco" <rdema***@email.msn.com> wrote in message news:ur9QTYxLFHA.3064@TK2MSFTNGP12.phx.gbl... > We have approx. 8 workstations and want to setup a Win 2003 server.
