I have a couple of programs that I want general users to be able to run.
However when they attempt to run they get an error that the user must have
administrator rights to run.  How can I set it so that the user is able to
run these programs.

Windows 2003 AD network environment
Using Group Policy Management
Using modified lightly managed policies for users and computers.

Thanks,

Albert-

The basic process would be to create an application compatability "shim"
that tricks the application into thinking it has administrative privilages
(and allows it access to anything extra that it needs).  Some good
information can be found here:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/winxppro/plan/appcmpxp.mspx

Good luck,
Erik

I am sorry I do not see anything in this reference about allowing a program
to run with admin privileges.  All I see are ways to allow a program from a
different operating system to run on windows xp.
