Reloaded server now I can't install the network card..had been hacked. It is a Intel Desktop board D865GLC with integrated network and sound. The install went fine but I didn't have access to the Intel drivers at the time so I installed SP1 from CD. The entire machine seems to run great and I finally got the drivers but the network and multimedia drivers refuse to load. These are the drivers from Intel's site. I even put a Netgear card in with the normal drivers that I have used before and they won't load either. This machine was loaded an running prviously so I know it does work. The only thing I'm not positive about is whether or not SP1 had been actually loaded before or if the IT guy had the home made disk in anticipation of loading it and never did. What is going on? Thanx, Dave. Hi,

I know there is this issue with the event logs. It might also have some
effect on your NIC install. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;899416 -- Show quoteHide quoteRegards, Dave Patrick ....Please no email replies - reply in newsgroup.
