Yes that’s right folks I have a few servers that THINK they are Service pack
4. I noticed this when I tried to update them to SP1 and was told that they
already had a higher version. Does anyone know where the OS looks to see what
SP it has and anyway I can roll it back so I can apply SP1.

Were these ServerNT or Server 2000 machines before you put Server 2003 on
them? Or are they fresh installs of 2003?

There is only Windows Server 2003 SP1 at the moment. You can only mean NT
Server or 2000 Server SP4.

No, i do mean Windows 2003. I have a group of servers (built from the same
image) that thinks they are Windows 2003 Service pack 4. The image was
created on a clean HD of a server never used before.

There is no SP4 for Windows 2003. Only SP1...... If you have SP4 applied it
is Windows 2000. What makes you think that they are at 2003 w/SP4????

I will type this slowly for the SLOW people. I am not saying there is a SP 4
for 2003 I am saying my server THINK they have sp4. I know this is not true
but since they THINK they have SP4 I am unable to apply sp1. I was hoping
some one with experience would be able to point me in the right direction
about how to fix my servers that THINK they have sp1.

You know, I've read back through several posts and noticed something.

These people are right.  You are an arrogant twit.
