Windows 2003 Server Active Directoryfunctioning ver fine. The second DC which was holding the Global Catalog crashes dueto HD failure. Now I took another HD and installed Windows 2003 Server and dcpromo as a member of existing Active Directory. Because I was not able to demote, the NTDS-setting is still the name of the other Server. Now the two Server are not able to replicate to one another. NTDS-KCC error. Is it Possible to repair? Any Help? Thank you in advance -- alan You can use NTDSUTIL to do a Metadata cleanup.
