Upgrade to R2Hi
We have a LAN running W2003 SP2. Have just got a new W2003 R2 server. Can I just add this to the domain, or should I 'upgrade' ezxisting servers to R2 first? (Or perhaps any ohter action?) TIA Lewej * Lewej <Le***@discussions.microsoft.com>:

(Or perhaps any ohter action?) as a DC, you will need to extend the AD schema using adprep on Disc 2. If you don't want to use it as a DC, you can just add it as a member server, and everything will work fine. Thanks Lukas
