After applying windows 2003 Service Pack 2, it broke most of my HP printers.

Has anyone ran into this?

Thanks,
Eric

Back up and running after, I had to reload some of the print driver on the
server.

We have experienced similiar issues.  So far all of the HP printers installed
prior to our Service Pack 2 update appear to be working normally (Win2k3 R2
deployed w/ group policy "Pushprinterconnections.exe").  We even tried the
"Pushprinterconnections.exe" from the udpate Win2k R2 Service Pack 2
c:\windows\pmc... w/ no change.

When we add new HP printers they show up as "unable to connect" from the
clients until a user w/ the rights to add the machine to the domain logs into
the machine.  Then all users, including regular domain users, can use the
printers - they show as "ready" then.  If the machine is rebooted every user
seems to still be able to use the printers.  Is there a more elegant fix?
Did I miss a setting?

thanks,
