NTBackup file compressionI am using NTbackup under windows 2000 server and I was wondering how I
can tell if file compression is being used in my backups. I have the option selected to "use file compression if available" (not sure if that is exact wording), however I have not had to go back to tape to check the format of the files in backup. Is there a way to tell if the files are being compessed? You can do this by creating 5 files at 5 GBytes each, using this command: fsutil.exe file createnew 1.bin 5000000000
