Hi All,

I'm not sure if this is the best group for this or not so if there is
some group better please let me know.

I am new to shadow copy admin!  Our past Admin set up shadow copy on
our win 2003 server cluster on 3 shares.

A few times we have noticed that our file server has become very
unresponsive.  I was even unable to Terminal Service in.  When I was at
the server it would not load my current profile due to resource
limitations.  The only thing that would get my server back online was
running vssadmin and deleting shadow copies.  Is there a way to have
the shadow copies deleted regularly?  Say everyday delete shadow copies
that are older than a month out?

I know I have a lot of reading and learning but how to do this would
get me over a hump.

Thanks
Mike

Not that I know. The copies are removed on a disk space limit. You could try
reducing the  amount of space you are allocating to shadow copies
