patches installation - reboot?

When i install patches do I need to reboot the server each time?

Some pathces will require a reboot. Those that do not it is always a good
"rule of the thumb" to do so anyways. However you can load numerous patches
and reboot only once all have been applied.

An additional advice would be, reboot your server at 3am (scheduled task)
after installing updates where you will need to reboot (you will know
whether you will need to reboot after installing the patches - a
notification will show up next to the clock IF you need a reboot)
