Change Licence from Retail to OEM

We bought a server with its Windows 2003 server standard OEM licence included.
We performed several tests on this machine and we reinstalled the OS many
times. When we finaly reach the configuration we wanted for the server we
find out that the installation was performed using the media and license key
of a Retail version of W2k3 server std and not the OEM  that came qith the
server.

We want to know if there is any way to change the licence installed at the
server? We would like tio left the server with its OEM licence and free the
retail licence installed by mistake. Is this possible without reinstalling
the OS?

Thanks in advance

I found the following for XP:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;328874

Not sure if there is similar resolution for Server OS. Care to call MS?

Hello Arek,
Note that the article is for volume media only!
Then this only allows to change from one volume key to another volume key.
This article does not apply to Retail or OEM media.
To change media type, you are required to reinstall the OS
Thanks,
