need help

which webserver can i use to run asp on my win 98 pc. i dont have a
working pws setup so which other web sever bseides pws can i use pls
tell and preferred if its a freeware.

Apache: http://httpd.apache.org/
But since you've asked this question in an ASP group, I should tell
you that Apache server won't run ASP. ASP is proprietary to Microsoft,
and only IIS runs it properly. There are third-party add-ins that
claim to enable ASP (http://www.sun.com/software/chilisoft/index.xml),
I don't know how well they work.

Sun's Chili!Soft is pseudo ASP.
